Official Court Reporter (Part-Time) Spokane, WA

The position is assigned to the Spokane court location but will provide support to the Yakima and Richland court locations.

San Juan County Superior Court is looking for a freelance court reporter for courtroom reporting for jury trials. We average 5 trials per year ranging from 3-10 days. We pay travel, lodging, wait time, court time. Any transcripts ordered while matter is in Superior Court will be compensated at a contracted rate. Reporter must accept OPD (Office of Public Defense) transcription rates on any appeals from Superior Court to Court of Appeals, where applicable.
